Summary0026398: Dark Zenith invasion - Planet linking bugs
DescriptionUpon the Dark Zenith worlds spawning at the beginning of the invasion, I got this error. Looks like the check for non-linked worlds is throwing it before they finish spawning in properly?
EDIT: No, the worlds are actually not spawning their connections properly.

Actually, having reloaded things to try and get a save, I'm not entirely sure it's that simple. In the gamestate that resulted after that error, the Dark Zenith planets aren't all linked to each other.
But if I reload from an earlier save and let it run through, there's no error and the DZ planets are linked.

Okay, further testing shows that it breaks a little under half of the time loading from save Pre DZ (The error occured on the 1st, 3rd, 5th, 9th and 11th times. And the time I let the time run through until the actual invasion started, the DZ planets not all being linked resulted in some DZ planets never becoming linked, as can be seen in Nonlinked DZ.

Also, ultra minor UI issue I noticed doing all the reloading: When you reload an earlier save in the campaign before the DZ arrive, the fimbulwinter icons still appear on the galaxy map (Unselectable), until the DZ invasion arrives, whereupon the incorrect ones disappear.

This would have been better in another ticket, yep, but I got this one fixed:

* Fixed a bug where icon underlays from one game (fimbulwinter, etc) could persist into the next.
