| Description | Putting up a save right before Phase 2 to make it easier to test. I don't know what to call it really but the way Phase 2 chases your main Ark is quirky, to say the least, so it bears some attention and probably some tweaking. Definitely exploitable too once you pick up on it. Basically, it chases your Ark wherever it is in a clunky way. Since the Ark moves freely, it'll understandably never really catch up with it but the Overlord doesn't update its destination right away; it seems to do it in certain intervals. So you get some funky behavior where the Overlord enters the planet where the Ark is in, goes to where it was when it marked its position, finds nothing then attacks random targets until it starts chasing after the Ark again. | ||||

Some other comments by Inc on discord https://discord.com/channels/240637654717300736/242012213580136448/934838886088208476 I was "testing" Ark Empire with difficulty 6 AI, and found that if i don't move my ark from AI homeworld/bastion, the AI Overlord doesn't phase out even on reaching it's target. So i actually have to escape bastion/HW territory to be able to finish the AI off. |

Shark B. I know it works, but if it just occasionally zeroes into the position of the Ark like the Overlord does then you can also setup some shenanigans. That or, I suspect since it did go weird a few times, it targets your earlier planets instead. |

Overlords and Exos should hopefully be a bit smarter at chasing Ark Empire home arks |
