| Description | See attached game - check the fleet hotkeyed to 1 at the planet level. The fleet was fully constructed when it passed through the wormhole, the fleet is in Pursuit mode, and at the time of passing through the wormhole, all ships were in Pursuit mode. Some ships were killed by damage, and when they were rebuilt, some - not all but some - rebuilt in Defender mode rather than Pursuit mode. Note the flagship is still toggled in Pursuit mode, and most of the fleet is in Pursuit mode. In this case, hitting V again makes the ships which are not in Pursuit go into Pursuit, without toggling the ones already in Pursuit onto Defender. So the fix is relatively easy, but again, it's forcing the player to micromanage every fleet battle that's taking place in Pursuit mode, because at any time it's possible that their ships have started rebuilding in Defender mode. This does seem most likely to happen after transiting through a warp point, but I am not positive they're connected because transiting a warp point is also the most likely time for me to start losing ships. So I don't want to conflate the two. | ||||
