We've been helping a lot of people with mods, and a lot of people who were doing mods have then turned into volunteers of some degree. Last I spoke to some of these folks, they wanted to wait until post-1.0 before working on their mods, or they had life events going on, but now a lot of mods are getting larger and more mature, so I may need to circle back around. At some point I'll just reach out to these folks individually again and make sure that they feel like they've gotten the attention they need."
