Summary | 0025954: Roaming Shroud faction (DLC1) | ||||
Description | This is basically just the Devourer Golem, but minus the dangerous ship at the center. Instead, this faction has an invisible unit that roams around the map, causing intel blindness for players on the planet it is on, as well as all adjacent planets. Players won’t be able to see anything on a planet that is shrouded if it doesn’t belong to them personally. Not even allies! Their ships can still shoot, however. NPC and AI units will have their range reduced to 50% of normal while in the shroud, to give them a disadvantage that is kind of analogous to the one you get as a player. | ||||

This sounds like a DLC3 idea. Necromancer + Darkness and cloying slowness... Seems to fit. |
