Description | Currently beacheaders are not moving well during attacks. They are fragile, so when attacking a planet, they should transform into turrets asap, not start going in the middle of the planet and die like they do now. Also, I sometimes notice that they enter a planet I'm attacking and stay 5-15 seconds idle. | ||||

So the code for beachhead constructors says "When I arrive on the planet, pick a random spot that's pretty close to the wormhole i just entered by (up to 15% of the gravwell away)". It sounds like you are observing something different? |

Most of them follow that rule, but sometimes there's a few beacheader going for a full frontal attack on the other side of the gravwell. |

I managed to get this interesting screenshot. This beachhead arrived from "Scorpion" and it's still moving due to Decollide orders, further and further away from the wormhole. 3 screenshots: decolliding, realizing where it needs to go, transforming into turret. This whole journey is what makes them die. |

Here the beacheads created 3 different areas of "constructions". They were all coming from Waylan to the South. |
