Summary | 0025621: galaxy setting reverts to default
Description | I'm trying to use a modifiable-in-game galaxy setting for the wormhole invasion options I mentioned. It uses CustomDropdownArbitraryOptions. I can make the change, but when I hit "Save" then it reverts back to the default I can provide the actual XML I'm using in a few hours if you'd like.

Here's the XML I was using: <galaxy_setting category="AI Behavior" subcategory="CommonFeatures" is_advanced_setting="true" name="WormholeInvasionMode" display_name="Wormhole Invasion Mode\ " type="CustomDropdownArbitraryOptions" arbitrary_options="Planet Linking,Immediate Wormhole,Send As Waves" default_option="Planet Linking" changeable_during_gameplay="true" description="The AI gets periodic Wormhole Invasions to attack you. There are several different types of Wormhole Invasions. Planet Linking: creates a Wormhole Projector that links two planets, then spawns an attack force. Destroying the projector removes the wormhole. Immediate Wormhole: The AI creates a temporary wormhole on one of your planets, and launches attacks through it. Send As Waves: The AI will instead use this budget as a number of simultaneous attacks from Relentless Waves." /> |

I can confirm this in an existing game, but in the lobby it seems to work fine. |

This matches my experience |

Thanks! * Fixed an issue where string-based dropdowns in the in-game galaxy options screen would not properly save their value. It worked fine in the lobby, but not in-game. ** The new wormhole invasion settings are the first settings to ever use this feature, so this is our initial discovery of a bug dating back to at least June, if not prior. |
