There's a bunch of things that are fix in the new 3.503 that should resolve all of this that is left, but old saves from those other recent beta builds will still be busted. Can anyone confirm if -- on a fresh game from 3.503 -- the following still happens?

- Too many ships granted from a hack.
- Ships of unexpectedly high mark level.

Those should be solved, but it's hard to prove a negative.

Both are solved, but a new bug related to this came up. Sometimes ship counts just randomly jumps up.

Going to mark this as solved since the core thing is solved. The related issue with the counts jumping up may be solve in the next version, not sure. If not, there is more debugging info for following that one in a new topic at least.
