This is the honeycomb map. |

Working as intended. Snake means "only connected at one point." This turns it into a snake, out of honeycomb. It's not recommended as a way to play, but it's there. |

It is not only connected at one point. The sections highlighted in red are closed loops. The planets highlighted in magenta are connected to three other planets each. A snake would have two connections/planet most of the way along. |

Ah, right. Well, that must be why it's called solar snake versus just snake. I don't really know. It was a setting that Keith coded in a long time ago. I found it buried and thought "why not," so turned the feature back on as an option now that we can do sub-options. It works how it works. It's not a mainline feature, it was just something I brought back from the dustbin in case it was neat. |
