Description | There was a discussion on Discord about removing the concept of Lone Wolf officers. It only applies to 3 ships right now: hive golem lone spire frigate botnet But they might need balancing once you can boost them to high heaven with elite ships. Honestly, I'd prefer to keep lone wolf fleets as a concept and expand upon them a bit more. They add diversity to flagships other than "All flagships are also fleet carriers" |

They're lone wolf because they may be a bit too powerful if they're allowed to generate units. (e.g. railpod or cluster bomb to cover botnet's weakness) Of course, a similar effect could be done by stacking a lone wolf with a transport, but at least they can attack said transport with a bit less effort. |
