Summary0024817: Idle Transport Metal and Energy Bonus Not reflected in all screens properly
DescriptionI just started a new game with DLCs 1 and 2 enabled. Dark Zenith (as well as Svikari), Nomad Planets and Zenith Trader enabled.

In the attached save, I have transports on both Syndic (homeworld) and Shortliffe (adjacent planet).

I have tried moving the transports off and then back onto each planet, but after the requisite cooldown period, neither metal nor energy income was boosted by the 1.1x multiplier.

This has been working on my end, so I checked out the save you have here. When the timer ran out, energy produced on Shortliffe was boosted by exactly the 10% amount, from 500k to 550k. This was on the listed build 2.899. What are you seeing happen specifically when the timer expires, to try and narrow it down?

Thank you for looking into this Sage.

I tried reproducing it twice last night, and each time when the timer ran out on Shortliffe, metal remained at 1k and energy at 500k exactly. I watched the timer on the transport count down and the toggle go from "OFF" to "ON", and still no change.

Definitely sounds like something on my end and not the game itself from what you're describing. I'll try to take a closer look when I can get back to the game later today.

If it's on your end, it's still a game thing. I have also been seeing this work, but I'm guessing there's some edge case where it fails. Does it still fail for you in the latest builds?

I just did some additional testing and discovered that this is in fact working. The issue was that the per-planet income listed when you click on the metal income text on the top resource bar does not change to account for the idle transport bonus, and neither does the metal income text on the planet tool tip from the galaxy map. However, I found out that my overall total metal income (shown when hovering over the metal at the top) does reflect the additional income accurately.

In conclusion: functionally this feature is working as intended. However, several of my go-to sources of information where I expected to see this reflected did not display the correct/up-to-date values. I do not know if this is intended or not, and as such will leave this ticket open for the time being.

Okay, cool. So that's a different sort of issue. I noticed that with upgrading the specific fleet and comparing energy amounts from the upgrade, it also misses this. I'm sure also the metal bit.
