| Description | I haven't played in awhile so I have no idea when this started, but I get the following error every time I load a game, or even refresh the map in the pregame setup: 4/29/2021 9:44:29 PM 2.813 SINGLEP Hit exception in RelentlessWaveLogic LRP. debugCode 500 System.Exception: Could not find corresponding AI faction for Relentless AI Wave at Arcen.AIW2.External.SpecialFaction_RelentlessWaveLogic.DoLongRangePlanning_OnBackgroundNonSimThread_Subclass (Arcen.AIW2.Core.Faction faction, Arcen.AIW2.External.ArcenLongTermIntermittentPlanningContext Context) [0x00258] in <01afa0a81fd143a99a6e34f5889838af>:0 4/29/2021 9:44:29 PM 2.813 SINGLEP Unknown Exception in DoLongRangePlanning_OnBackgroundNonSimThread for faction Relentless AI Wave(Index 15), so will not run any more of those until a reload of the save. Oh wow -- do you have a savegame that shows this? It's based on an old save, apparently, so I'd need one to fix it there. In the lobby, you can hit reset to defaults to get around it. But I should be able to fix this in general, with a save. |

It's actually not an old save, just the lobby settings that are old. The error should pop up as soon as you unpause. |

Ah -- there are some mods there that are not a part of what's distributed or in svn, so I can't load it. I'll take a look at the error raw, I suppose. |

Thanks! * In savegames or lobby settings where for some reason the relentless wave subfaction is not tied properly to a specific AI faction, it now works to rebuild that in a sensible way if it can, or just chooses the first AI faction if it can't. This should solve the errors resulting from it either way, and the worst case should be that if you were having a civil war and it didn't get the optimization perfect, one side might have an edge over the other. |
