Sorry to hear about the connection troubles y'all were having, if you were using 4.068 or thereabouts there's some desync issues we're currently hunting down that don't actually have anything to do with the networking/connection situation.
If you were using a significantly earlier version (like the 4.021 official version) there are a variety of things to debug networking-wise, though Chris knows more about that than I do.
Anyway, I don't understand specifically what you would want the connection service to do, can you provide examples of games that do what you want in that regard? In all likelihood any kind of significant scale thing would be way outside our financial range, though. |

In terms of doing something like a NAT punchthrough service, that's definitely out of the scope of something we can do. At the moment, I think the problem is simply the desync, which of course we'll fix and is handled in a different issue. |
