| Description | I've read the update notes for Beta 2.727 (not released yet). I would like to make note of more ship types that seem to have two weapon-techs involved. The Aggressor is an Agravic Pod that is slower with a reduced albedo rating, but in addition to damaging ships with high engine ratings (notably raiders and frigates), Aggressors deals more damage to those who arrived to the planet recently (usually through wormhole). This would make the Aggressor both Ambush (currently in this) and Disruptive (Agravic Pod is this). The Barnacle is a Metabolizing Gangsaw that deals reduced damage but applies movement and weapon slow effect to targets. This would make the Barnacle both Melee and Subterfuge. The Fusion Saw pierces personal shielding instead of giving you metal. It is slightly slower than the Metabolizing Gangsaw, but that's not what's at issue here. This would make the Fusion Saw both Piercing (formally Fusion) and Melee. Nanoswarm is an unusual one: would be both Melee and Exotic considering that it zombifies targets. It also stuns smaller targets, so I'm not sure what to make of that. There are probably others out there that have unusual characteristics. | ||||

The Bounty Hunter Frigate is a Raid Frigate that also deals greater damage to new arrivals, with a weapon similar to that of Ambush Turrets. I think the Bounty Hunter Frigate would also be considered Ambush. |
