| Summary | 0024247: Incorrect "we are attacking a planet" notifications for 30 planets at once. | ||||
| Description | This happened on my old mac, when it was a host during multiplayer. All of the notifications were correct WHEN there were actual attacks going on, but I don't know why on earth it ever thought it was fighting on these planets. This was from moment one in multiplayer in one game but not in others (yay), and when I reloaded it did not recur. It wasn't the specific save. It was pretty irritating having my screen covered in such warnings, and I don't know what that was about. I can't seem to duplicate it yet. | ||||

I encountered the same bug when starting a game with friends last night. Rehosting to fixed the issue. |

Hmm, interesting. That is super frustrating, I can't see how it would possibly be doing this at the moment. I wish I had a way to recreate this a lot. I wonder if maybe this is just right at the start? Were you in a very new game? |

Yep, it was a completely fresh game. Instead of saving and reloading, as you did, I just rehosted the match with the same seed and settings. One AI, dif 7, no minor factions, three human players. |

Fingers crossed this works in the next build: * For the first three seconds of each game, there are no notifications shown up at the top bar, now. This should basically never be the case anyhow, but this will hopefully work around the "30 different planet attacks" bug. If anyone sees this in 2.707 or later, please let me know! |
