Description | Though not a massive threat to your station, besides the inability to repair the station if your lose forcefields. It is very unnerving to hear that alarm go off and think "Oh crap, my home station!". Carriers just love to bounce off stations if they are not killed and to target them, thus very very slowly killing them and preventing them from being repaired. Plus it is silly to see that massive ship "melee attack" the station and doing next to nothing. I'm not sure what could be done to prevent that but I can understand that they do need to go through forcefields sometimes, but stopping them from going through would prevent this fully. I wish I had a screen shot of it to illustrate, but it has come up a couple times. | ||||

Good point! * AI Carriers now have 6000 attack range, so they should no longer be trying to get right on top of the human home command station to attack them. |
