Description | The description for the Ghost-type mentions it focuses on stuff with cloaking. It does occasionally launch waves without Ghost ships, and its guardians don't gain an extra cloak but this all still fits with its description. However, the other AI also gains the ability to use cloaked ships. None of the AI types are adaptive so this should not be happening. I have three saves where the red AI is launching waves with Ghost ships and one more save where the red AI just sent Ghost ships as reinforcements. The orange AI is the Ghost, the red one is a Peace Maker. | ||||

Were those planets once belonging to the ghost AI, and then captured by the AIs that now are launching those ships? Most likely it is that the "types of AI stuff that spawn at this planet" were set by the original AI, the ghost, and then someone else moved in and it kept those types. |

I think you might be onto something. Wrong ships save 1: Wave from Gunk to Buaha; both Gunk and Buaha were owned by the Ghost at game start; at the time of the save Gunk is owned by the Ghost and Buaha by me. Wrong ships save 2: Wave from Foraylal to Cerebrum; both Foraylal and Cerebrum were owned by the Ghost at game start; at the time of the save Foraylal is owned by the Ghost and Cerebrum is neutral. Wrong ships save 3: Wave from Octo Endal to Choltrain; both Octo Endal and Choltrain were owned by the Ghost at game start; at the time of the save Octo Endal is owned by the Peace Maker and Choltrain is neutral (Ghost AI has been dead for 50 minutes). Reinforcements: Spawned on Blandy after Citadels were annihilated by fusion turrets; Blandy was owned by the Ghost at game start; at the time of the save Blandy is owned by the Ghost. |

Thank you! * In multi-AI games, it's possible for AIs to launch waves or border aggression from planets that belong to other AIs. Normally border aggression or wave contents is determined by the AI groups chosen at that planet, but when it's from a different AI, it may not be intended to share that AI group. In those cases, it now finds a different random AI group that it is supposed to have to use to populate the wave or the border aggression. ** In multi-AI games, this should keep AIs with unique ship types from sharing those with their partner (or enemy) AIs that coexist with them. ** This, like the other adjustment to AIs after reconquest seeding, is untested but should work. |
