| Description | I often used the "spawn new ships" cheat in testing to let me start a fresh game and do something quickly. Turns out that hitting "Enter", then typing "cmd: player potluck" repeatedly is way slower than just clicking "spawn new ships" 10 times. I'm open for suggestions for how to improve my dev experience, but a few suggestions. First, can I have "cmd: pp" as a synonym for "cmd: player potluck"? And second, could I have a number to have it spawn multiple fleets? I have a similar request to make the "Grant more energy" cheat also easier to use. Chris, I know you sometimes like easy low hanging fruit to get warmed up for the day, so feel free to tackle this if you want. Otherwise I'll do it for myself eventually. | ||||

I have a cool idea that is related to this that will let us issue commands more rapidly in general, I'll also tackle that. It is indeed a good warmup. |

Bit 1: * In order to make entering commands more rapid, particularly if you're doing many at once -- or have a small typo you need to fix -- it now remembers the last 50 commands you've entered in the chat window. ** To cycle through past commands you've entered, hit the up arrow on your keyboard. If you passed what you wanted, hit the down arrow. ** This only works with commands, not with actual general text chat, which it excludes on purpose. ** So if you want to spawn some ships (or do whatever else), you can now enter the command for that once, then just hit up arrow and enter repeatedly to keep repeating what you just said. |

Second bit: * There is now an alias for "player potluck" which is just "pp" This seems to pretty much handle what you were looking for, as up and enter is super fast to do now. |
