Description | On our last game, I saw several ships (ours, not AIs) trying to get into the wormhole, but they were repeatedly (typo?) going back and forth, passing near wormhole, but not entering it. I do not have any screenshots available, but the group movement/gathering at wormhole behaviour or something like that maybe related to this. Haven't noticed this on previous versions, playing the last beta. Not a major issue though. | ||||

We might have a save, I saved 4 times so far. One might have 2-3 ships trying to enter the wormhole, need to check though. |

None of the saves includes such thing. I saw 3 of my ships were trying to enter the game (who knows when) and I was wondering where were they for all that time. Will try to get a save if something like that happens next time. |

Chris, one thing I noticed recently was ships having to decelerate as they approached a wormhole, whereas before they would go full speed until they were right on top of it and then fading out. Related to the removal/merge of WaitPoint ? |

Well, I don't have a save file :) It happened again today, I got a save, but that was like 30 saves / 14 hours ago so I don't know which one has that issue... I label my saves as A0.0 / B7.3 etc... |

Keith: it's not directly related to the waitpoint itself, as that was only ever used by ai ships. But, it must be something from that same batch of fracturing, yeah. Great observation on the deceleration thing, I'm not sure what is causing that. |

* Ships no longer decelerate to enter into wormholes. They now just fly right in at whatever speed they are at when they arrive. Additionally, when ships are closing in on a wormhole, they now do their movement-recalculation checks a lot more frequently, which uses a bit more CPU, but which also will prevent them from overshooting their goal as they have been doing at times in the last version or two. |

This is also affecting ships that try to move to a build point from the Space docks, pretty severely in fact. |
