Summary0022692: Nanocaust "Immediate Invasion: Off" setting seems a bit of an oddity
DescriptionIf you add a Nanocaust faction with immediate invasion turned off, there's a Nanocaust Suppressor somewhere in the galaxy.

If you *don't* add a Nanocaust faction with immediate invasion turned off, there's a Nanocaust Suppressor somewhere in the galaxy.

True, there are still reasons to add the faction with immediate invasion off - it lets you tweak the intensity, or add multiple Nanocausts. But this isn't available for other factions.

Nothing really needs to be changed here - it's not a bug, and it's not harming the user experience, it just seems weird that the default option for the Nanocaust faction is the same as not having the faction enabled at all.

If you wanted to do things differently:
* You could add an "immediate invasion off" option for the other minor factions too, allowing people to have, say, a friendly Devourer that doesn't spawn immediately, or multiple marauder factions gated behind phlebotonium emitters.
* "Immediate invasion off" nanocaust could behave differently from default suppressed Nanocaust. Rather than being something that the player has to choose to trigger, it could be set up so that it *will* be unleashed at some point, just not right at the start of the game. I'm not entirely sure how, though.

This is a workaround to the fact that you can't change a faction's colour/intensity during the game (in particular at the time you interact with the Beacon).

I understand, but the same is true of the Resistance Fighter Beacon, Devourer Beacon, and Anti-Marauder Phlebotonium Emitter.
