Description | Very often, several different ship types work well against a particular opposing type; however, it's hard to tell what works best because in order to do so, one must manually divide the two "seconds to kill" columns by each other. My proposed solution is for the "result" field to do this in the background and use that to sort instead of just plain win/draw/lose (which, I note with some happiness, are currently sorted correctly, thank you!) | ||||

Remember how the old weak vs/strong vs system listed percentages of how badly they lost or by how much they won? Something similar to that? |

I'm new here, so... no, I don't! But anything that gives a stronger indication of how well one unit is against another would be nice! |

Oh, sorry. The 3.0 days didn't seem that long ago... Anyways, they did many, many version ago, and that sort of "how much victory/loss" would be nice to see again. (Trust me, the current mechanic is MUCH easier to understand, it is most certainly worth the hopefully temporary loss of this type of nice info) |

3.0 was released a year ago :) For 4.063: * The "Result" column on the reference tab of the stats screen now displays a percent next to each Win or Loss value, representing the margin of win or loss. ** So Win(80%) on a row in the table means that the type selected in the dropbox above the table will beat that row's type and still have 80% health/ships left (if it's one vs one it roughly corresponds to how much health the individual will have left, if it's cap vs cap it roughly corresponds to how much total health the ships will have left). ** A Loss(80%) means that row's type will beat the dropdown's type with 80% left. ** Sorting by the Result column will now sort from Win(100%) to Win(1%) to Draw to Loss(1%) to Loss(100%) and vice versa. |

Actually, I think I first started this game when 3.1 was still the stable version. How long ago was that? Still, has it been 1 year already? |
