Do you want cloaked ships to regen their cloak? I don't actually remember the reasons why it's currently this way to be honest. One way forward would be to make an "Experimental: Cloaking Regenerates without needing to be emptied first" Galaxy Setting that people can opt into to see what they think, so we don't make a big change like that relatively blind. I feel kinda bad about using the player base as guinea pigs for balance changes, especially when there are bugs... |

Looks like you already handled this. As to why it was the way it was... I'm honestly not sure. It wasn't that way in the first game, and I think that it just got caught between designs for a while and we didn't think a whole lot about cloaking. |

I couldn't find anything on why either. |

Cloaking now resets to full after 10 seconds out of combat. This may require additional balance effort, since it's a nice buff for cloaked units |
