Summary0022195: Transports don't seem to spread out properly at the end of a move order, instead going back to start area.
DescriptionSay I give a transport a move order to move it out of harms way. If at the end of the order it gets bumped by something and has to move to make space, sometimes rather than moving a certain distance from the destination it will move to a certain distance from the start of the move.

The problem is, often I moved it from the start for a reason, and now it's probably running back into harms way.

This doesn't just happen with transports either. I've had it happen with engineers, and other fleet ships. Just get enough of them colliding, and eventually a handful of them will bounce to the start again.

I'm not sure what can cause this, or how to get it to happen reliably, but it does happen, and always seems to happen at the worst of times.

Do you have a save game where you can reproduce this (even sporadically)? I don't really want to spend 20 minutes starting a game and finding a bunch of fleets.

Edit: I'd ideally like a save game with a bunch of fleets on a planet where you can say something like "I took a few minutes futzing with this and reproduced the problem at least once"

I will try to generate that save for you tonight before bed.

Ok, in the system with the blackhole generator there are 4 fleets. Order them to load up and go to a place in the friendly system where they will bounce off a static structure like a turret. They should turn around and settle near the wormhole they came from instead.

I think this is fixed. Can anyone verify? It may not be fixed until 3.010, but I think it's already fixed earlier than that.
