Summary0021952: Marauders In Basic Quickstart
DescriptionMajor might be an excessive categorization, I kind of think this is between major and minor if that makes any sense. A new player on steam made a good point about Marauders I think. They got rolled by them inside of 2.5 hours on Scenario 4 at 4 intensity. At that point Marauder threat was well over 200.

My thinking is that either Marauders should be tweaked in terms of intensity, how powerful they get how fast, etc. … OR perhaps better, removed from that QuickStart. I think it's a problem if a player is doing is Basic QuickStart on below-standard (6 difficulty), trying to get used to the game. We all love AI War punching us in the face and laughing at us bleeding on the sidewalk, it's just not great in my opinion for learning mechanics which is what they were trying to do.

I don't actually understand this report. When you say "They got rolled by them", what do you mean? Do you mean the player got killed by the marauders? Or the Marauders killed the AI?

Which quickstart was it? If it was Basic 0000004 then it does say "Definitely only if you're experienced" in the tooltip.

Player got killed by Marauders. They didn't know what quickstart it was, but I'm assuming it was 4. I guess my .02 is just that if a quickstart is only for experienced players then I don't think its the best idea for it to be in the basic category.
