Summary0021120: "Hold Position" Buttoms
DescriptionI suggest make Hold Move buttom, becouse units always randomly moving, you cant control them, except FRD with auto-kite(lol) or million "Shift" command, but its destroy brain of new ships, becouse they will repyte "Shift" commands for Officers, instead attack enemy in "FRD" setting. If your Officers will randomly moving on the planet, you will lose them. No Officer=no army.

"becouse they will repyte "Shift" commands for Officers, instead attack enemy in "FRD" setting. If your Officers will randomly moving on the planet, you will lose them. No Officer=no army."

Can you explain what that means? I'm not sure I follow that bit, and it sounds like some sort of bug. Steps to reproduce would be welcome.

1)Select Officer in FRD mode, 2)make command for moves to point A, then hold shift and make command for moving to point B. 3)Repyte 50 times.
Look on lines about Officer. New ships will follow this route.

Oh, I see. Yes, the ships inherit the movement orders of their parent, and that overrides FRD/pursuit mode. That's very much by design, because they listen to you before they listen to automated states. Why do you have your officer wandering around the map like that? That seems undesirable.

A unit isn't going to normally move unless you have given it orders to, or you gave its officers to (in which case it tries to stay with the officer, following the same rules).

I'm not sure what you're trying to do with units popping out and sitting still while the officer runs around like a crazy person. ;)

"I used it in past versions for for make big army be under shield and kills everywhere on the way."

You can absolutely have everything under the shield moving together, by using group move and setting up a bunch of movement commands. Using pursuit mode is the opposite goal of that, since that says "go do your own thing." In fact, aside from not having group move on, everything should work just fine for that now, better than ever.

"Righ now, im using it, becouse part of Officers will automatically moving without my order around the planet, becouse units trying to make battle formation and Officer too."

I don't understand what you mean. Officers are moving without you telling them to? That does not sound right. Unless they are in pursuit mode, in which case they are moving because you told them to be in pursuit mode. Pursuit mode is the opposite of a formation: it is saying "everyone go do what they think is best." So trying to have a formation and pursuit mode at the same time will never work, by definition.

You cant to force your army be in one place under shield without 1 million clicks around your army and in one place. Group move doesnot work with army, its work only with squad. I was not using mods in my tests.

Officers were without mods too. I made order with right mouse click to my Officers for retreat and just make army, not moving and attack.

I see, that units under "Group Move" actions like "Hold Position" or "Stop". So, dont need "Hold Position" buttom, I can stop Officers. its not obvisious, but work.
