DescriptionLoving the game so far but my flow is ruined be selection. Primarly can it be made so that ships will always try to get back to their group? Also need consistency between in system and overmap selection.

Example 1: start a new game, build scouts. Select one, tab, r.click to move, tab, select one (UI shows one selected), tab, ...wait now I've got more than one scout selected and if I order a move my already positioned scout is now moving too.

Example 2: get a fleet with docks rallying to it under group 1. On the overmap hit one and maybe it selects the system with the most ships from that group, maybe it just selects ships of group one in the current system. On the planet map, again maybe we jump to thte most ships, or the two vwings in transit get selected.
(whats selected ought to be the same on any screen or wiped clean on transition)

Example 2*: Same set up, looking at death blob of my ships being restocked from next door. Hit 1 and some random magic happens. Either all ships of group one were selected and everything is great as I blob around with ships selected and moving in as they are built, or only ships in system are selected and my blob poops out unselected units as it moves around without passing orders along to new ships. Hitting 1 after this happens usually continues to select only in system ships.
(I really like that out of system ships and ships that are just built get selected ...when it works)

Example 3: other side of my empire has a big wave coming, time to move my ships! but are they all selected? how about new ones being built while the group is selected. Sometimes I get there and everything comes along. Other times (most times) there is a trail of units just hanging out along the way. This is most definitly made worse when trying to change a move order in transit. Trying to turn around? Thats gonna be messy.
(why are reinforcements stopping? I'd like it if the ships would move to their group no matter what or at least obey the most recent move order no matter what. I know I didn't tell them to stop half way for coffee)

Example 4: docks sometimes forget to send ships to the group at all. Every now and then when cleaning up other ships that took a coffee break I find some that didnt even get out of bed and decided to camp by the dock.
(not selection related, maybe?)

TL;DR
I don't know for sure whats getting selected or which units are moving where they should. Sometimes they stop for coffee or my selection gets stopped at customs leaving a trail of ships that need a kick in the but to get going, other times I get unwanted passengers on missions leaving me to rebuild lemmings that couldn't help themselves.

Quick ninja edit: The best easy thing for me to have fixed/changed: a way to select all of a group, in any systems, and have them all move to a location with a single order.
