Summary | 0002068: Impossible to select military/non-military at the same time
Description | Whatever approach was taken to fix the "requires selecting twice to select non-military ships" bug has had a rather hilarious opposite effect - it seems to now be completely impossible to select military and non-military at the same time. Try this: Select any number of military units, then shift-click a non-military unit. Nothing happens. And the reverse: Select any number of non-military units, then shift-click a military unit. The non-military units are actually deselected and the military unit is selected. EDIT: Selecting the units using the planetary summary works fine. It's only if you physically click on the units that this bug pops up.

Try holding down control while making a selection via a selection box. Does that still work? Is shift clicking to select individual units supposed to ignore military/non-military status? |
Shift + click doesn't work. However, Shift + double click seems to work for me for some reason. It's not just non-military BTW, Shift + Click won't even add unselected military ships to the selection, you have to shift + double click, or shift + box selection. |
The key you want is ctrl, not shift. |

Thanks! * Fixed a bug from the last few weeks where selecting military and nonmilitary ships together was way messed up; that in turn was a result from a fix to where it was too easy to accidentally select nonmilitary stuff. It should now be back to the way it was pre-Unity-port, but please let us know if something still seems up. |
Just a heads up. As of this comment, this change has not been noted in the release notes. |
I know, I don't put them there instantly, but thanks. ;) |
