Summary | 0002063: Forcefield Graphical Themes (Human/AI/Spire/etc.)
Description | It would be nice to have different, distinct graphical differences amongst all the different forcefields that are in the game. I recall back pre-Unity that AI forcefields had a beige colour scheme, and that added a bit of "theme" to AI planets. Having different sets of colours/schemes for the different factions would both be aesthetically pleasing, and would faintly denote distinctions between the forcefields for immediate recognition; "oh, this is a AI forcefield, it has a ridiculous amount of HP," "oh, a Spire forcefield like that one, *pointing,* is a lazy thing that doesn't keep ships out of its radius!"

Generally we only do differing force field styles to denote function, not aesthetics. But, some functional forcefield differences are coming. |
