Summary0020520: Distractor Starship Merc needs redesign
DescriptionThe distractor starship acts more like a ninja assassin than a distractor. The AI totally ignores it and because it has fusion bombs it is actually quite effective at killing guard posts. Note that it registers as 0 strength on the sidebar (I suspect that's the problem)

SO I would redesign this unit to be a special type of sentry starship. This ship should just sit in the gravwell and avoid detection. It should have massive strength to make AI freaked out when its on a planet.

This save is good for exhibiting the starship and experimenting with potential fixes.

*This save is also a potential template for the quickstarts, "The Great Train Robbery"

Right uh...I think it has a gun so that it is actually considered a combatant, except something is making it NOT a combatant and I can't see why. Normal combat cloak ships definitely show up as combatant types...

So...huh. I don't know what to do here.

Finally got this. He's now a combatant properly, he'll stay still instead of trying to murder everything in sight, and his weapon has a shorter range so he won't accidentally ruin his cloak as often upon arriving.

EDIT: Now for some reason he...moves. Annoying.
