Perhaps check the message log and if the last message was "Science exhausted at Planet X", then end the loop there. Or maybe just cancel the hack when it hits 0. |

I'm not seeing the message at all now. I see the debug text pop up (The character buffer pool one), but no other messages in the log. |

I believe this is fixed - I have no memory at all of seeing this lately. |
