Summary | 0019692: AI threat number is not just the AI faction | ||||
Description | The AI threat at the top counts the strength of all factions. Should it be this way? (Actually, now I'm not sure if all the factions are counted.But I know that number has been going up over the course of the game while the Marauders have been taking planet after planet.) I'm going to leave this here so I don't have to type everything again if I'm right. Edit: I can confirm this is true. It went up as soon as Marauders spawned. I'm only concerned because it refers to AI. Since the main enemy is called "the AI", it's a little confusing trying to determine what "AI" it means. Plus I can't actually figure out what the AI strength actually is. | ||||

I think some mechanism for communicating that there are Threatening But Not AI forces out there should reasonably exist, but perhaps more work is needed to define this. Perhaps if the Marauder Raiders should only count as threat if they are on a player planet or something. |

This is something that deserves discussion pre-EA. |
