Description | http://www.arcengames.com/forums/index.php/topic,6899.0.html I popped a system in my game with CogDissident the other day and got a counterattack wave notice of 2000 frigates to system A and 2000 frigates to system B (I believe both were frigates). Two things: Neither the system I popped nor its singular adjacent unexplored system had a counter attack post. The spawned ships where not 4000 frigates. There were frigates, yes but I highly doubt there were 4000 of them, but I also got some 500+ bombers, youngling tigers, 400+ cutlasses, and various others including 5 bomber starships (Mad Bomber: "Would you like bombers with that?"). Had the waves been 4000 actual frigates I probably could have taken them, but the cutlasses nommed my Human Settlements and Cryopods and then half of my remaining fleet (after having chased stuff from one planet to my homeworld) before being destroyed. Had I known there were going to be cutlasses (lolz melee and ignore FF) I would have planned significantly differently for the attack. I should still have a save from before I hit the system, will post when I get home. | ||||
