Summary | 0018868: Controls: At low framerate, mouse look acceleration makes controls unpredictable
Description | Running at a framerate that varies between 10 and 30 fps, the acceleration applied to mouse input will cause me to occasionally rotate through at least 180 degrees, making the controls feel slippery. For instance, while rotating around, if I pan into an area with a number of particles (from a dead robot, for example), on a laptop GPU, this will cause the framerate to plummet and the rotation speed to increase.

Was getting this, as well. I didn't have it in earlier builds, though. |
|
Was this just in first person, or was this also in third person? |
|
Hopefully this fixes it in the next build either way: * Adjusted the camera rotation code to be in update rather than fixedupdate, to make it hopefully more resilient to lag. |
