Summary | 0001727: New Core Shields are not spawning properly | ||||
Description | The New Core Shields are not spawning in accordance to the description given in the release notes, I just made a level 10 game and barely saw any. In particular there were no Core A shields. (there may have been a B but I didn't see one in that one though I've seen 1 in a fresh level 6 game.) In my two older games there are no Core A-C shields although there should be some. Edit: included a 'Level 10 - Doom' save with galaxy map marked. There are no A-prime Core shields, P9=B there is one only, P8=C these are spawning correctly, P7=D there are 6 but there are 3 counter-attack systems with no D's marked with P1, P6=E there are 5. Special note -> P0= ARS system w/ E shield, all other ARS's marked with P5 | ||||

There is definitely something funny going on. started new game, all exp, full visibility, 7.3 AI. Went to AI home system and hovered over one of the guard posts. The "external invincibility numbers were jumping around continuously. the 2 screen shots show 44 and 95, there were other # as well. |

I noticed that as well earlier, thanks for reminding me. On a side-note, my level 10 test save's homeplanet just happens to be named koboom, if the first o had been an a it would have been hilarious. |

Fixed the core reported issue, thanks. If you have a save that can duplicate the reported invincibility number that would be appreciated as well. Thanks! |

I'll look into it if Winter Born doesn't beat me to it. One of my older games might be doing it. |

I have one, new issue report is up with the save. |

CS-# are still incorrect for older games, but they spawn correctly in fresh ones. |

I was willing to credit you with that one since I forgot about it till you mentioned it, I just provided the save that proved that it was happening. |
