| Description | I've selected a building category and then I open up the details of one of the buildings there and then I want to look at the details of a another building in the same category but currently doing that is a bit cumbersome because while I can use left click to select any of the buildings ctrl-click or middle-click won't do anything since I already have a detail window open and right clicking to close the window also closes the category I have open(pressing esc exits the category and after that closes the window). Ctrl/middle-clicking should switch to a different building's details, and/or right-click and esc should first close the window and only on another press close the building category I'm in. | ||||

Yeah, totally agree. Came here to post exactly the same suggestion. This is an issue both on the map and also inside the tech menu. |

For 0.878: * Now if you have the tile details window open and you ctrl/middle click one of the left sidebar building entries, it will switch the tile details window to that new type. ** Note: this doesn't allow clicking an actual tile on the map while the details window is open; mouse handling for the map needs to be disabled while that's open, and generally it blocks a lot of the tiles anyway. ** Works similarly for the tech details window on the tech tree. ** And also closes the tech details window if you open the tile details window, and vice versa. Otherwise strange overlapping can happen on the tech tree display while you're clicking around. Thanks :) |
