Ah, heh, didn't expect that, with them being minor-faction ;) |
Minor faction stuff in general should not cause that. Might be a more generalized bug, in that case. |
There should be an achievement called "Facepalm!" or something like that for this happening ;) |
Yea, I'm fixing the NetEnergy calculation to ignore ActionStatus.MinorFaction ships; should it also ignore ActionStatus.Zombie? |
Yes, please. And: wow, what a bug. That would cause energy to really be out of whack with minor factions on. |
Ok, fixed for 4.040 ;) Sorry about that happening, lol, talk about one final kick in the pants after all that pain ;) |
I'm sorry to say that but after patching to 4.040 and loading the save spire ships spawn and still ruin my economy. Or the fix doesn't work retroactive? I'm attaching save to provide test case. It's seems that no AI War for me today ;) |
That's very odd, it's the sort of thing that doesn't have to be retroactive, it's computed in real time. I'll take a look, thanks. |
Ok, I found that the modules were not being properly flagged as minor faction, and fixed that. I also just took the save and tried to see it through to the victory. It actually took several iterations to get the defense-assistance fleets to behave properly, and to build up enough redundant energy reactors to compensate for the eventual loss of the ZPG (which first required getting out of the fairly impressive economic hole it starts in, with -18,000 of metal and crystal per second, it seemed). So I definitely had to do something, but victory did happen in a reasonable period of time :) |
