| Description | A "Radiation Burst" event occurred on an outpost. A tooltip says "Radiation has damaged an installation. It's less effective until the damage can be repaired" So I want to repair it myself. Friendly Acts -> Friendly Intervention: Repair Outpost "This outpost doesn't need any repairs" Since I am still new to the game I am not sure where the problem is. Either: - I should be able to repair it - The reason I cannot repair it should be different (e.g. "Irratiation still present, must wait") - The event wording should be different. The station should not be "damaged" (e.g. "Certain modules had to be disabled till radiation is over") | ||||

I've had this happen as well. (And did the same double take). As far as I can tell, the event doesn't do actual damage (when I got this event, the station was still there when it ended, and still didn't need repairs, if I'm remembering correctly). But rather reduces (or eliminated) the bonus it applies... Difficult to tell though, since it's pretty difficult to see the effects stations are having, and I'm not even sure they're actually working at the moment... |

FYI "repair" is only for the events that say it's broken to the point of being abandoned or otherwise completely unusable; repairing it then gets you the outpost for free. Anyway, supporting issue. |
