Summary | 0001375: Stealth battleship | ||||
Description | A starship (or guardian) that combines a stealth hull and ECM technology to become extremely difficult to target. Enemies are unable to target the stealth battleship at ranges beyond 4000 units (or pick another number if that doesn't work out). The battleship itself has only a moderate range as well (maybe 8000) and doesn't offer great firepower either (something mid-range for a starship) but it forces enemy long-range units to close in and expose themselves. As the AI no longer fields much immobile firepower (guard posts are jokes compared to the guardians) that should not be a big problem. The idea is based on the Radar Jammer. | ||||
