DescriptionSome things are just too costly for what they deliver:

Spire Starship: It's on par with the Zenith Starship but costs twice as much. The knowledge cost makes sense since they act as extra cap but the resource cost difference is nuts.
Ion Cannon III and IV: The increased wave size massively outweighs the actual weapon's usefulness, against the usual 100-200 ships in a serious attack it's practically a pea shooter and with the wave multiplier the ion cannons do more harm than good. 1.5x and 2x might be fair, the IC is a purely defensive structure and doesn't offer the benefits of e.g. a zenith power generator.
MkIV ships: Seriously, that price is just nuts. We have to go through a ton of trouble just to be able to build the things and then we have to pay over 10k metal for a MkIV bomber? They aren't THAT much better than the MkIII ships. I've never had even a late-game economy that could cope with producing tons of 10k+ cost ships and the MkIVs are made by a factory that must be defended heavily. The MkIV scout is dirt cheap now though.

Meanwhile the Leech Starship is pretty cheap for a starship and offers a massive advantage with its reclaiming that allows you to capture many AI ships you would not normally have access to.
