Description | Couldn't come up with a good name. I don't like either of my suggestions If anyone has any ideas feel free to suggest one. This starship would focus on high burst damage, then retreating to rearm. Most of its damage comes from its several torch modules, which i envision being located on pylons around the ship. The torch modules do extremely high damage but consume themselves in the process and are short range. So the ship would either be emergency close-range support for a long range group - or it would a berserker flagship for a close assault. Once its torch modules are expended it must construct new ones, which of course takes time and resources. | ||||

Sounds interesting. The damage and output needs to be up high though to warrant it; say same as a superfortress or so. That way it could be a nice "Oh holy crap they're about to take the home station, kill them now" unit (as well as a limited raider or beachhead creator), while still not being too powerful in the long run (assuming it can only fire six to ten salvos). |

Cool, but way too time consuming to implement for LOTS. Considering for later, though. |
