Descriptionmk1 tractors ALWAYS hold 30 units, no matter the scaling, however they have differing costs and hp as caps change.

Just to check: the number of tractor MkIs you can build scales with the ship cap, right?

Or is that not happening?

Ok, that's working as designed then: a high-cap tractor MkI can tractor roughly 15% of a shipcap-worth of fighter MkIs, a normal-cap tractor MkI can tractor roughly 15% of a shipcap-worth of fighter MkIs, and a low-cap tractor MkI can tractor roughly 15% of a shipcap-worth of fighter MkIs.

Make sense?

Believe me, I did ;) Had to think through all kinds of cases like what about paralyzers, engine-damage-stuff, etc, do they need to scale their number-of-shots and/or rate-of-fire to be able to maintain effectiveness, etc... the answer was no, because the number of distinct targets was dropping or increasing in the same proportion as their own numbers.

Of course, that breaks down when interacting with non-scaled stuff, though generally that stuff is immune to those effects anyway.

True, the Riot gets a bit of the short end of the stick on high and a bit of a boon on low. But the difference isn't really that big.

a bit of a bump on the tractor beam turret wouldnt hurt, ive never actually built one over a forcefield :\
