Description | A ship (not necessarily a starship, just something that gets used in small numbers, might be better in the Sup tab) with a transport capacity of 1 that, like a hive golem, generates a specific unit. The unit in question is a self-attritioning (lasts only a few minutes) immobile shield generator with a good amount of HP (should probably depend on whatever cost is being chosen for the shield pulse emitter) and a large area. Its role would be providing some extra health to armies or high value targets but only if these remain stationary and only for a short time so it would have to be activated when really needed. The obvious weakness would be bombers which would quickly chew through the shield generator, leaving the target unprotected until the pulse emitter recharges. | ||||

Interesting. Sort of the Neinzul take on the Force Field Bearer. Larger area, but (exceedingly) low ship cap and self-attrition. |
