Just a quick note, I was playing with a friend online and they noticed a pretty major flaw in the default Xbox360 control setup (at least it mapped OK, though). Open Strategic Advisor view is still mapped to left-analogue-click in! This is actually pretty terrible as it is incredibly easy to accidentally press this click button while moving the character around. This mapping should either be removed or moved over to right-stick click in. Because I use my PS2 pad as my main controller (with the D-pad) I must have missed this flaw... oops."

* Fixed a bug in some of the default input bindings sets where the strategic overview wasn't always being mapped to blank on the gamepad, leading to it not overwriting some of the base settings if they were already there. This really only affected configurations that predate version 0.800 or so, but still was good to fix.

It wasn't really your oversight, it was just a confluence of things.
