Summary | 0001067: The Sapper starship | ||||
Description | This starship allows construction of turrets in it's vicinity, and also does repair and engineering duties. It's also equipped with a tachyon emitter (for finding cloaked ships and mines) and energy bombs highly effective at cracking forcefields and strong targets. I know you're adamant about not providing any mobile supply depots, but you might have to have a weak form of one here. Perhaps one that overrides the supply requirement of all turrets near it. (this is one of those super-starship ideas) | ||||

Love it! I think I'd do this as a new unit, which creates new specialized turrets that don't require supply (but which are weaker and only in smaller quantities). I think this could be really cool, though, as one of those new "larger than a starship, smaller than a golem" types of ships. |

After a lot of consideration, I'm needing to cut this from the LotS campaign for time reasons. The idea is really unique, though, and I hope to do something like this in the future. |
