Description | The fire walker enemy (pretty sure thats the name. or is it fire dancer? Cannot remember the exact name) is far too annoying in its current state. It fires bullets out in every direction that have seemingly arbitrary movement making them exceeding hard to dodge. In addition the bullets travel through walls and the floor so they can even arc up from underground. The bullets are also so small that you can't shoot them to try and block them. Finally they fire fast enough that if you retreat to dodge its attack by he time you gt in range again they can fire again. The line of sight change makes them much less annoying but they are still too much. The only way to really deal with them is to just eat the practically undodgable damage. | ||||

I agree completely. To make matters worse, you can't just dispose of them with a homing spell since they track the shots too. This thing really needs a nerf. |

They're easier to deal with than they might look, actually. The homing spell thing is a glitch I think, but generally any long-ranged straight shot can pop these guys. The trick is to not get near them before that; when they do pop is when the bullets fly out, run away from the spot they were in, and jump between the bullets or dodge them however. So far I've actually found these guys to be one of the simpler monsters to beat, as they cannot stop any of my shots at all, and dodging the bullet wave after they die isnt usually that tough to do (doing this on Hero). The new upgraded bomb type spells, as well as any attack that fires slow-moving shots, are effective on these guys since they let you fire and then run away before the attack even hits them. I can see how they can be trouble, but their attack is far from unavoidable. |
