Summary | 0010416: Diagonal fire down
Description | When I am going on straight surfaces, everything all right. But when I am going diagonally, it doesn't work for "forward+down+fire" combination. Simply put, I am not stopping as expected, and now and again run into hoards of monsters or into pit. :/ It happens in any combination except "press down, _then_ press fire and forward". In that, and only in that case character stops and fire diagonally down. P.S. Thank you for returning mouse in menues. :D

I'm sorry, I'm not sure I understand what you are saying. Can you show me the problem? |

Ugh. Seems, my bad English betrayed me again. Sorry. Let's me start it from the beginning. :) When I am on horizontal surface and pressing fire, it fires straight. If I am moving, it's fire straight ahead of me. Good. But I cannot do the same with diagonal shots. If I am firing up/down+right/left, hero will stop and fire this direction. Good for me too. It works in any combination of key pressed. I.e. "Press Fire then press Right then press Up" will stop hero, just as "Right, Up, Fire" and any other combination. But with slopes this mechanic doesn't work. Look on this screenshot. If I will try to press Right+Down+Fire, I am expecting that hero will stop and fire down-right, diagonally. In reality it will run right and fire. Down-right, yes, but it's not what I want! I must hold Down&Fire, and only after that press Right - only in that case I will stay in place and fire. The same rule applies to Left+Down+Fire. Strange enough, but "Up" directions unaffected - when I am ascending, pressing Up+Left/Right+Fire always stops me. |

It sounds like he's saying the only way to shoot downward diagonally on a slope is to push down first, then rotate to diagonal, rather than just pushing diagonal first. |
|
Ok, I think I understand now. |
|
Thanks! * Fixed an issue where you would not always lock into place when you were trying to hold down and to the side while firing on an angled slope. |
