I've died twice in lava pools in freefall rooms for the same reason. I'm practically dead by the time I hit the floor before I can jump. |

Thanks! * Inside freefall rooms, your falling rate is no longer slowed when you are in water or lava; that was making them untenably slow. |

It doesn't seem to have changed in 713 |

Do you have a savegame that I can test this with? I didn't have one, so the fix that I put in was untested. |

I'll post one next time I see it. The first water pit in a windmill falling zone was where I found it. |
