Summary | 0010131: Make the first Mercenary Free
Description | So, I started the game w/ zero mercenary coins, and now that I have 30+, I'm not sure if I want to spend them yet because I haven't seen what mercenaries do (I'm sure it's explained somewhere, but demonstration would be more informative). Why not give the player a free mercenary use the first time they find a hotline?

I think this is a good idea. I'll add to it that rather than making the first mercenary free. Provide a mercenary on an early region (or maybe the first windmill) to show them off. This would keep players from saving that free merc, while still letting you get an idea of what they do. |
|
Hmmm, I'm not sure about this. It's not like you can use the coins for anything else anyway. |
|
Mercenaries are being phased out as of 0.720... |
