Are you SURE this is a bug? The multiplayer server may have had a higher difficulty setting than your singleplayer world. I cannot be sure but it seems that combat difficulty increases enemy shot caliber. |

I'm fairly sure it is, both maps are on adept. |

I cannot reproduce this in 0.710 so perhaps it was fixed since then. In any event when I tested the same shot collisions in MP as I did in SP I get the same results. The collision may not happen on all clients before the shots naturally expire due to latency, but when I shoot a projectile I get the same result I got in SP (generally the monster spells have superior caliber to my low-level stuff, but a few of my spells can beat theirs, and it's consistent). If you see this again, can you provide a world file and steps to reproduce (notably, which spell to use, against which enemy)? Thanks :) |

Thanks! * Fixed a race condition in multiplayer that could sometimes result in inconsistent caliber detections between spells. I've not been able to reproduce this either, but I can see in the code where this could happen, and have now fixed it. |
