Looks like an out-of-memory situation (meaning the game tried to use more than about 1.5-1.7GB and died due to addressing problems, not that you didn't have enough RAM in the system). A few questions: 1) How long had the app been running during that session? 2) Were you running fullscreen or windowed? 3) Had you spent a lot of that time in another window? (that causes the device-lost messages to spam into the log, that's the engine doing that and we can't stop it; takes up a lot of memory eventually) 4) Has it happened again since then? Thanks :) |

Well, I don't know for sure how long exactly but it was several hours long. And I always play in fullscreen. Usually when I'm playing I have Pandora running and because of that I periodically have to minimize so I can tell Pandora that I'm still listening. I don't think I was spending an extraordinary amount of time in FireFox with Pandora or other minor web surfing but I wasn't timing myself either so I quite possibly could have been. It did crash again relatively shortly afterward (I'm assuming for the same reasons) but the third time playing was fine till I stopped. Before I was using mantis, I also had a crash about a month earlier. I can upload both crash folders if you would like. If so, would you prefer I attach them to this report? If not this report what would be the preferred way? |

Attaching them here is good, though the crash reports themselves are not particularly helpful because they're very low-level. Though that's not really their fault, it's the cause of the crash being something pretty low-level and not related to any specific thing the game is doing. How long between this crash and the one after it? Do you have a save file from when the first crash happened, or otherwise a save file where you can play it for a relatively short time and it crashes? Basically I need a way to make this happen on one of my machines in order to try to fix it :) |

I would say there was only around an hour or less between crashes. I was finishing up for the evening so I didn't play for very long after the crashes. I can upload a couple of save files that I think were in between crashes. Since I'm basically kinda guessing I'm not sure if they will help any. I didn't try to make it crash again and I didn't write any details down or anything like that. Honestly this is the only game I have played where the development staff are as involved on the front lines so to speak as you folks (not that that's a bad thing) and I just assumed all the details needed would be in the crash report. Should this happen again, I'll make sure I get more relevant information about what I/the game were doing. |
